Certification
Under the Technical Regulations of the Russian Federation, certain categories of goods must undergo mandatory conformity assessment—either in the form of declaration or certification—to confirm their safety for Russian consumers.
Certificates and declarations of conformity are issued based on test reports generated from imported product samples. To conduct these tests, sample units must first be officially imported and declared to customs authorities specifically as “samples for testing,” accompanied by a corresponding customs declaration.
If the required certificates or declarations of conformity are not provided for imported goods, customs authorities will refuse their release. Therefore, it is essential to arrange the import of samples and complete the conformity assessment process well in advance of shipping the main consignment.
Conformity assessment activities are regulated by the Federal Service for Accreditation (Rosakreditatsiya), which continuously strengthens oversight of compliance procedures. This includes measures to revoke or annul certificates and declarations if violations are identified during the assessment process.
Our company works exclusively with accredited laboratories and supports our clients throughout the conformity assessment process, ensuring an optimal balance between cost efficiency and timely completion.
